Being a fresher, it was a great experience for me to share the knowledge which I have earned from this company. I am Steema Tomy from the cultural capital of Kerala, Thrissur.
After successfully completing my MBA in HR from Marian International Institute of Management, was appointed in Logezy as an HR executive, working for Casgo Connections. To be more specific, I am into Recruitment and Compliance.
We are getting an hour (Friday ) to be engaged in an event called ‘Disco’, where the staff come and share their knowledge, which helps all the staff to know about what is happening in each department. I was the second person to come in front representing the operations team. And the topic which I choose was on Recruitment Procedure.
Talking about recruitment, it is a process of attracting, selecting and appointing the appropriate candidates for a job. More specifically, finding out the right person for the right job. Usually, here we use job portals like Indeed, Facebook and Linkedin to get the maximum reach.
Screening the applications according to the job description, ie according to the roles and responsibilities mentioned in the job ad. Sending an interview invitation if the candidate is suitable for the job post. The direct interview is been scheduled and the best among the best applicants are selected after the interview.
The next thing that comes after this process is the compliance procedure. The documents to be submitted, ie the ID, Address, NIN & DBS proofs are to be submitted along with the training documents.
I was very happy and confident enough to share what I do here. Looking forward to having this kind of event again.
